Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman, Distinguished Professor of psychology and Director of Center for Public Policy Research is at the University of California Davis. She was widely credited with establishing the current study of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and the role of children in witnessing. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive and she has been awarded numerous grants, and has been the winner of many honors international and national levels. She has offered advice on policy and research to numerous agencies and government departments across the world. She is currently a advisor to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She's a member of numerous professional organizations, including Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman belongs to Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member, International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the head of the American Psychological Association's three divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
