Aurora
Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. Half the World Away - by the Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two covers worth noting that the artist has done. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry announced her new song Runaway. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft, and becoming intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. They encouraged her not to pursue music solely for pleasure or as a means of development but instead, she must explore it. In the end, she started writing songs of her own. Her sources include noted writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her affinity with Bjork's style. Her mom encouraged her to play her songs in public, not so that she could achieve fame, but rather to help others realize that they matter and how they can make a difference for the world. She was suggested by her mother to perform her songs publicly to help people realize the importance of their work and how they impact the world. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she revealed her plans to her parents. There was no way she could have imagined to be Aurora. The only thing she loves is writing songs. She claims that music is her preferred method of feeling anything.
